ABOUT ME
I am a freelance photographer whose background is in corporate portraits. My previous career was in marketing and business development, where I created corporate marketing and bid publications.

After picking up photography as a hobby in 2004, I progressed to becoming a part-time freelance photographer. In 2007, I began to photograph my colleagues for my ex-employer’s publications, with the brief of creating images that matched document layouts and matched the company’s professional and friendly attitude.

Since then, I have branched out into editorial, events and fashion and beauty work, and have been published twice in Photography Monthly magazine, including a front cover as a result of winning their ‘Shoot the Front Cover’ competition in November 2007.

I have also had work published on the Al Jazeera English news channel, in Camden New Journal, BBC’s Sport Relief web site, Architect’s Journal and enterprise magazine Tunza Spirit.

In 2011, I became a full-time professional photographer.

APPROACH
My style is to create eye-catching portraits that draws the viewer to the people they are seeing. I love using influences from the editorial and fashion worlds to make better portraits, and have a documentary eye for telling the stories of events.

With corporate portraits, I believe British business can use professional images to attract the right prospective clients to engage with them and get to know their companies better.

Looking personable, approachable and still retain a sense of professionalism and expertise is achievable and, after all, these are some of the qualities potential clients look for when seeking new service providers.

Beauty photography is a form of fine art for me and I love to capture the artistry of make-up artists and hair stylists and see what they can achieve.
